Mr. C.J Doyle of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts please review the Fr.Leonard Feeney case

Mr. C.J Doyle is the Executive Director of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts (CAL) I would appeal to him to take up this issue: please ask the Archbishop of Boston if the Boston  Heresy Case needs to be reviewed and also ask him the two important questions.

CAL works civically to defend the Constitutional rights of Catholic citizens of that state, according to the SBC Conference website, and he is the media’s go-to man whenever traditional Catholic values are threatened in the public arena, appearing for television and radio interviews approximately 150 times a year. He has often debated via the media many of the high profile facilitators of the anti-Catholic and anti-life forces whose policies dominate the most liberal state in America.

An appeal is made to Mr.C.J Doyle to note that an injustice  was done to Fr.Leonard Feeney in what the secular media called the Boston Heresy Case. The heresy  really refers to the heresy of the Archbishop of Boston Richard Cushing. The Archbishop assumed that those saved in invincible ignorance etc are known to us , they are visible to us and so they are explicit exceptions to the literal interpretation of the dogma and to the doctrinal position of Fr.Leonard Feeney.

Could Mr. Doyle ask the Archdiocese of Boston to clarify this issue and clear Fr.Leonard Feeney's good name.

He could ask them the two questions:

1) Do we personally know the dead saved in invincible ignorance, a good conscience (LG 16) etc ?

2) Since we do not know any of these cases, there are no known exceptions to the literal interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?

If the Letter of the Holy Office made a mistake to assume that those saved with implicit desire etc are explicit exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus then an injustice was done to Fr.Leonard Feeney. This  issue should be reviewed and a Press Statement issued.

Mr. Doyle has served as National Director for William Donahue’s Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights before the Massachusetts CAL was established. He is a graduate of Boston College which claims it is an equal opportunity institution yet dismissed Fr.Leonard Feeney and Bro. Francis MICM, for their Catholic beliefs.
