SSPX COMMUNIQUE INDICATES THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT A COUNCIL WITHOUT THE VISIBLE DEAD PROBLEM

Communique (1) indicates invincible ignorance, implicit desire, seeds of the Word are not ‘exceptions’.

With no ‘exceptions’ in Vatican Council II the Council supports the Syllabus of Errors and extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

The Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) communique should unite their priests and bishops since for the first time ever the tarmac and runway has been prepared for a flight in a new direction- towards a traditional Vatican Council II.

If they have stumbled upon a traditional Vatican Council II all the SSPX bishops and priests should be united and happy with this event. It’s the liberals in Rome who should be sweating. The communique will unite all traditionalists including those in the Fr. Leonard Feeney camp.

The communique says outside the church there is no salvation 'we reaffirm our faith in the Roman Catholic Church, the unique Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ, outside of which there is no salvation' (the old SSPX position) and ‘nor possibility to find the means leading to salvation’ ( the new clarification).

This is a shift from Bishop Richard Williamson and Fr. Francois Laisney’s position on every one needing to enter the Church except for those in …

So when the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales states every one needs to enter the Church except for those saved with the ‘seeds of the Word’ etc. the SSPX would say that we acknowledge that a non Catholic could be saved with the seeds of the Word etc but the seeds of the Word is not an exception. There are no exceptions. Since theoretically and practically we do not know anyone saved with the seeds of the Word. There are no visible-dead.

The SSPX would be using Vatican Council II to negate the English bishops' error on their  website. They would be correcting the bishops on the bishops’ turf, Vatican Council II.

Everything has been changed and over time the message will reverberate, at some places uncomfortably.

It was a simple communique, one small line, a little theological observation and its has put the SSPX in the driving seat.

Now when the Archbishop of Boston website tells us that Nostra Aetate has changed Church teaching the communique reminds us that we do not know any exception -saved, a non Catholic who is a 'good and holy' (NA).There are no visible-dead who are 'good and holy' and saved.

The SSPX can no more be 'in schism’ since there is only interpretation of Vatican Council II and it is theirs!
