Cardinal Castrillion Hoyes Prefect Emeritus of the Ecclesia Dei at the Franciscan Conventual Basilica Santi XII Apostoli in Rome

Cardinal Castrillion Hoyes, Prefect Emeritus of the Ecclesia Dei yesterday was the Chief celebrant at a Mass in Italian held at the Basilica Santi XII Apostoli, Rome. This is the General Curia center of the Franciscan Friars Conventual(OFM Conv.).
Church/ Chiesa dei SS.Apostoli (Basilica dei Santi Apostoli)

Cardinal Hoyes offered the Mass facing the congregation. It was concelebrated by many priests. It was one of a series of daily Masses offered by different cardinals at the Basilica, in preparation for tomorrow's feast .

The Church houses the community of St.Maximilian Kolbe Ofm.Conv.They are present day 'progressives'.They see Vatican Council II as a rupture with the past. This is considered heretical by Archbishop Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican.

The Franciscan Guardian at the Basilica, an American priest, is Peter Damian Massengill.

Cardinal Castrillion Hoyes has welcomed the reconciliation offer of Pope Benedict XVI to the Society of St.Pius x (SSPX). After Archbishop Gerhard Muller' statement on the interpretation of Vatican Council II as rupture with the past , by even progressives, is  heretical, the reconciliation of the Franciscans is also now an issue.
The OFM Conv. are rejecting Vatican Council II as being without the hermeneutic of continuity. They will not deny that we cannot see the deceased on earth who are saved. If they admit this error in public of not being able to see the dead saved, it would mean Vatican Council II is in agreement with the teachings of St.Maximilian Kolbe, on other religions and ecumenism (AG 7,LG 14).

LG 16,LG 8,AG 11 etc  would not be exceptions.

Presently Vatican Council II contradicts itself for the Franciscan Conventuals at this basilica.(LG 16 (explicit) contradicts AG 7( explicit faith and the baptism of water).

Without their irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II, the Franciscans would be in accord with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Syllabus of Errors and the rest of Tradition.

The OFM Conventuals at the Basilica recently held a convention at which the pro homosexuality Domincian priest was the chief speaker.-Lionel Andrades

Should The Catholic Church ever teach to those they come into contact with that they can be saved by baptism of desire? Never. Should the Catholic Church teach that Baptism of desire is a possibility known only to God? Yes. Conclusion: Baptism of Desire is alien to us on earth and is not an exception to "No Salvation Outside the Catholic Church".
