Rome (Vatican) must say that there is no known salvation outside the Church . In this way 'Rome will come back to the faith' as Archbishop Lefebvre demanded.
In the recent interview with Avvenire Pope Benedict was saying there is known salvation outside the Church.This was a break with the centuries old theology on salvation.
It is with this obvious error, of there being known salvation outside the Church, that the popes interpreted Vatican Council II. Then they say there is a development of doctrine since they interpret LG 16, LG 8, NA 2, UR 3 etc as referring to known salvation outside the Church, and being not invisible but visible cases saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church.
"How can LG 14 etc refer to known salvation outside the Church,'" someone should ask Pope Benedict .
He will probably say the Holy Office 1949 stated this in the Fr. Leonard Feeney case.'So did they make an objective mistake in Rome in 1949', he should be asked.Where are the cases of people saved with the baptism of desire or in invincible ignorance ? Where do they live what are their names?
He could say that the traditionalists say St.Emerentiana is in Heaven without the baptism of water. He should be asked who saw her in Heaven without the baptism of water, to make this claim? Does the Church recognize that someone had this special gift to see people saved without the baptism of water? How can it be said St.Emerentiana is an explicit exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS)?
Is this not irrational? And upon this irrationality he (Fr.Joseph Ratzinger) and Fr. Karl Rahner S.J created the new theology.
Now with this new theology Pope Benedict claims Vatican Council II has developed doctrine on salvation.This irrationality creates a hermeneutic of rupture with the past.It does away with the dogma EENS on which is based the old ecclesiology.
Ask Pope Benedict to interpret Lumen Gentium 16(LG) as referring to invisible and not visible cases.Then there will be NO development of doctrine.
Ask him to confirm this observation i.e he does not know any one saved in invincible ignorance or with a good conscience(LG 16) and without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church this Easter (2016).
Tell him to announce that the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 made an objective mistake.It was a magisterial mistake.Also in 1891 Baltimore, when a catechism was issued, no one knew of a baptism of desire which produced the same result as the baptism of water.It was speculation. So it was not relevant to the dogma EENS.There was no connection.
Ask Pope Benedict to confirm that in 2016 we do not know of any exception to the dogma EENS as it was interpreted by the 16th century missionaries.
So according to Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) the majority of people on earth are on the way to Hell, since they die without 'faith and baptism'.
He also does not know any one in 2016 who will be saved or not saved in invincible ignorance,or someone who knows or does not know that Jesus and the Church are necessary for salvation but who did not enter(LG 14) and who will be saved or not saved.
So LG 14 has no connection with EENS.It is not relevant to EENS since it refers to invisible persons for us human beings.
It is when he is asked these questions and we get his answers that 'Rome will come back to the faith' as Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre demanded.
