Jesus tells us we should judge

Today morning the Franciscan priest at Mass said in the homily that we must judge everyone with compassion since we cannot really judge the interior of the soul.He does not realize that by saying that he has judged the person. He has also judged the teachings of Jesus and the Catholic Church in a negative way.

Jesus has said that all need the baptism of water for salvation(John 3:5).Baptism was given in the only Church Jesus founded. It was given to adults who had faith.Jesus said that those who do not believe will be condemned(Mark 16:16).So we know that faith and baptism are the ordinary means of salvation. If there are exceptions it would only be known to God.So exceptions are not the ordinary means of salvation and so we cannot judge people in general and say that they are going to Heaven. Most people are on the way to Hell since they die without faith and baptism(Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II).

So when I meet a non Catholic, or someone in manifest mortal sin like a divorced and re-married Catholic,I know that this person is on the way to Hell, since the Catholic Church guided by the Holy Spirit teaches this.I judge only because I am guided by the teachings of the Church.Personally I am unable to see the soul of any one.

This priest was using the 'I cannot judge' model of Fr. Charles Curran and Fr. Bernard Haring, whom Pope Francis admires.
The young Italian priest who offered Mass in Italian at 7 a.m today is unable to say that all non Catholics in 2017 are on the way to Hell with no exceptions. He has judged.

It is like Fr.Charles E.Curran producing a long list of extraordinary circumstances, all imaginary, and then he judges that these particular people will be saved and are exceptions to the traditional moral rule on mortal sin.

Similarly Cardinal Raymond Burke says that the Eucharist can be given those couples who live as brother and sister. But how can we really know?

The couple could tell a lie and often this is the case.So Cardinal Burke will have judged and judged wrongly.
In the Bible Jesus judges homosexuals and fornicators as being on the way to Hell and they will never see the Kingdom of God unless they repent and change their way of living. This is how he has judged and will judge on the Day of Judgement.
But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before unbelievers.  Already indeed there is plainly a fault among you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?  But you do wrong and defraud, and that to your brethren.  Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,  Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God.-1 Cor.6:9-11 Douy Rheims Bible

On the Day of Judgement he will judge non Catholics, who did not accept him as their Saviour and lived his teachings as taught by the Catholic Church, as being wrong. They are on the false path to salvation in false religions. This is how Jesus judges and wants us to judge according to Scripture, Tradition and the past Magisterium of the Church.
Yes we must have compassion for the sinner and not condemn him since as long as he lives there is hope. When Jesus said (Matthew 7:1) we must not judge he was referring to judging and condemning. We must not condemn anyone.Even if we choose to shun someone for whatever reason we must not condemn them.

Jesus judged those selling outside the temple. The New Testament tells us that we can judge a tree by its fruits (Matthew 7:15-20) We are told to beware and judge false prophets who come to us in sheep's clothing but in their interior are ravenous wolves. Then Jesus tells us to take the speck out of our own eyes and this is a call to judge( Matthew 7:1-5).

Satan within the Catholic Church tells us that we cannot judge heresy but of course when a marriage is not a sacrament and so an annulment can be given.
Satan tells us, directly or indirectly,  that we can judge when a Jew or Protestant will be saved outside the Church and so a dispensation should be given for an inter-faith marriage. It would not be adultery.
He tells us we cannot judge when someone living in mortal sin, or has committed suicide will be going to Heaven and so can be given a Catholic funeral.
