What about Pope Benedict's philosophy? Is there a rupture between faith and reason?
Is it a new philosophy, a new theology and new faith?
Why did  Pope Benedict in March 2016(Avvenire) state extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) is no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century?
Was there really a development  with  EENS ? According to which theology was there a development? Cushingism or Feeneyism? So can Pope Benedict correct himself in 2018 ? Can he state that with Feeneyite theology, EENS is in harmony with the missionaries and magisterium of the 16th century? Can he admit that he made a mistake in March 2016? Can the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1994) be read with a new awareness ? See the graphics and decide.

Can the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1994) be read with a new awareness ? See the graphics and decide.Can there be no known exceptions to EENS ?.There are no known cases of the baptism of desire (BOD), baptism of blood(BOD) and invincible ignorance(I.I) in 2018. Personally we do not know any one saved as such this year.
Theoretical possibilities in the past(St. Emerentiana etc) cannot be objective exceptionsto extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) in the present(2018). We can accept St. Emerentiana is a saint.We can speculate and hope with good will. But could someone have personally seen her in Heaven, with or without the baptism of desire?
So is the Catechism of the Catholic Church 846  and 1257 supporting the centuries-old interpretation of EENS?
Is the present Magisterium of the Church in heresy? The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith uses Cushingism!.
