Cardinal Luiz Ladaria S.j has still duped Catholic traditionalist bloggers and all of them are clueless.
This blindness is caused by:
1. assuming there are known people in the present times (1965-2018) who are saved without the baptism of water in the Catholic Church and instead with the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood(BOB) and in invincible ignorance(I.I) etc.
2.They assume that the Magisterium was correct and Fr. Leonard Feeney was wrong since BOD,BOB and I.I are exceptions to EENS.In other words they know particular people saved with BOD, BOB and I.I.
3.They assume that when the popes referred to BOD,BOB and I.I (Mystici Corporis, Catechisms of Trent,Pius X etc) it was to known people at that time saved outside the Church.Someone saw St.Emerentiana and St.Victor in Heaven without the baptism of water.
4.They presume that the Magisterium cannot make a mistake on faith and morals and at least not an objective error. But the magisterium made a mistake in the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office when it mixed up hypothetical cases as being objective exceptions to traditional EENS.
5.They assume that the Holy Spirit guides the Church to teach that there are known cases of BOD,BOB and I.I.
6.So it was normal for them, when Cardinal Ladaria, at the Press Conference on Placuit Deo, told the lady journalist from the Associated Press that Lumen Gentium 8(subsist it in/ elements of sanctification and truth in other religions) was an exception to the old teaching on the Catholic Church having the superiority and exclusiveness of salvation.No one corrected Cardinal Ladaria's error.
Above is the irrational sequence most Catholics follow guided by a Magisterium today in schism with the past .Here is a rational choice which they have.
1.There are no physically visible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I .These are hypothetical cases known only to God.They can only be hypothetical and theoretical for us human beings.Possibilities that may or may not happen.A possibility cannot be a known exception to EENS in 2018.Since for there to be an exception there would have to be a person.He would have to be alive and known.An invisible person cannot be an exception to EENS.
So there are no known exceptions to the old teaching on the Catholic Church having the superiority and exclusiveness of salvation.There is no physically visible case mentioned in Lumen Gentium 8.
2.So the Holy Office 1949, the Archbishop of Boston and the Jesuits at Boston College made an objective mistake in the Fr. Leonard Feeney case.There were no known exceptions to Feeneyite EENS.
3.When the popes and the saints over the centuries referred to BOD, BOB and I.I it was to hypothetical cases.
4.The Magisterium has made a mistake on an issue of faith and has rejected Jesus' teaching on exclusive salvation in the only Church he founded, outside of which there really is no salvation.
5.The Holy Spirit cannot teach this error of assuming invisible people are visible and they are examples of salvation outside the Church.This is a man- made error which can be corrected.
6.So Cardinal Ladaria made a mistake when he assumed Lumen Gentium 8 was relevant or an exception to EENS.If we avoid his error the interpretation of Vatican Council II changes.It is in harmony with the strict interpretation of EENS and the Syllabus of Errors.
Hilary White, David Domet,Louie Verrecchio, Ann Barnhardt and others should study these six points.
Since 1965 it was definitely known, to at least some of the liberal theologians and ecclesiastics, that Vatican Council II was a not a rupture with Tradition.If you use the for and neutral to EENS interpretation,instead of the for and against EENS interpretation it becomes obvious.
However those who knew about this were not not allowd to speak or kept it a secret.So a false narative on Vatican Council II and EENS was maintained.-Lionel Andrades
