The New Evangelisation needs to be avoided : the theology of the 'Old Evangelisation' is supported by Vatican Council II

With there being no known salvation outside the Catholic Church the old ecclesiology is intact and we are back to the 16th century on extra ecclesiam nulla salus. There can only be an ecumenism of return since we cannnot meet any Protestant saved outside the Church. We cannot see a member of the Orthodox Christian church saved without Catholic faith.

With there being no known exception to the past exlusive ecclesiology of the Church we have the old evangelisation, traditional mission. We proclaim the Good News, that Jesus  Died and is Risen to save  all those who accept him and his salvation in the Catholic Church and that outside the Church there is no salvation.

There is the traditional theology of outside the Church there is no salvation since invisible baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance cannot be visible exceptions to all needing to be formal members of the Church to avoid Hell.

With the tradtiional theology and doctrines intact we do not have to reject Vatican Council II. Since LG 16, LG 8, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc refer to invisible cases in 2018 and so are not practical exceptions to the old ecclesiology. Also Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation(AG 7). This means all non Catholics at the time of death, according to the Council, are in Hell. 

Similarly traditional Mission based on traditional theology and doctrines are supported when the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1257) states God knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism of water.We know that there are no known people saved outside the Catholic Church because 'God is not limited to the Sacraments'(CCC 1257).So CCC 1257 does not contradict itself.

We can go out and proclaim the Good News knowing that Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and other Magsisterial documents and teachings tell us that all non Catholics on earth are oriented to Hell unless they are incorporated into the Catholic Church as members.

With the theological and doctrinal base intact for 'the old evangelisation' we can avoid the irrationality and new doctrines which make up the New Evangelisation based on the New Theology.-Lionel Andrades
