Then Pentecostals are correct when they correct the false church within the Catholic Church.The Catholic Church in New Zealand has criticized the statement by the Christian Australian rugby star Israel Folau for quoting St.Paul's Letter to the Galatians.The Catholic hierarchy in NZ seems to be supporting Satan on homosexuality.
Similarly the Catholic Church in NZ had prayers said for the deceased Muslims even though Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation.Outside the Church there is no salvation. There is no known salvation outside the Church and so the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus is supported by Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14).
So the bishops in NZ have rejected the Church teachings according to Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic on faith(outside the Church there is no salvation) and morals ( homosexual acts lead to Hell).
So this is not the traditional Catholic Church but a false church in New Zealand and it is not restricted to that country.
So Israel Foley,a Pentecostal, is in this sense correct, when he criticizes the Cartholic Church.
However these days many Pentecostals and Evangelicals have discovered the true Catholic Church within the Catholic Church. They are attracted by the Church Fathers and their teachings and they see a continuity with the present Catholic Church.
They enter the Catholic Church and affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and say homosexual acts are mortal sins which lead to Hell. On both points cardinals and bishops are speechless.-Lionel Andrades
