Why do you not interpret the Council II in this way ?

I don't think the Popes were irrational. Rather were intentional. The entire point of Vatican II was to Protestantize the Catholic Church. This has now largely been accomplished. Most Catholics are Protestant in their moral thinking and actions.

Lionel: Yes but now we can interpret the red passages as not being exceptions to the blue passages and the conclusion is traditional and orthodox. Why do you not interpret the Council II in this way ?
