The Latin Mass which Cardinal Burke offers and Matteo Salvini attends has a salvation theology, understanding of mission, ecclesiology( understanding of Church) and ecumenism different from that of the Traditional Latin Mass in the 16th century or the Mass in Greek in the first century. Similarly Cardinal Burke does not tell Boris Johnson or Jacob Rees Mogg, Catholics in England, that Vatican Council II today is in harmony with exclusive salvation as it was known to those who attended the Traditional Latin Mass.

 

Cardinal Raymond Burke met Matteo Salvini who also wrongly interprets Vatican Council II  superficially as a rupture with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the past ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.This is the only interpretation of the Council they both know.

Jacob Rees Mogg attends Mass in Latin and also in the vernacular.

Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg do not know that the Church still teaches exclusive salvation which is the basis for the proclamtion of the Social Reign of Christ the King.They do not know this since the cardinal of Westminister and the bishops of Britain will not announce it.

Similarly Joseph Shaw and the members of the Latin Mass Society and the Federation Internationald Una Voce will not make an announcement on this issue or issue a position paper.Shaw will not announce that Lumen Gentium does not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.He is concerned about a reaction from the Left.-Lionel Andrades
