The final Mass at the closing of the Amazon Synod did not have the same ecclesiology for the pope as that of the old Greek Mass in the first century.Similarly Pope Paul VI's personal ecclesiology at the first Mass in Italian, was a rupture with that of the Traditional Latin Mass in the 16th century.Neither of the two popes were offering the Mass of the Jesuits in the Middle Ages.

However if I was present for Pope Francis or Pope Paul VI's Holy Mass, there would be no rupture , for me, with the old ecclesiology of the Church, at the Byzantine Greek or Tridentine Rite Mass. Since I would avoid the mistake of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949(LOHO) which rejected the traditional theology of the Catholic Church.

LOHO  supported a hermeneutic of rupture by re-interpreting, the baptism of desire(BOD), baptism of blood (BOB) and invincible ignorance(I.I).
Then Vatican Council II followed and supported the hermeneutic of rupture. LG 8 etc were projected as a rupture with Tradition. In other words, they were physical bodies in present time and space.Otherwise how could they be exceptions or relevant to the past ecclesiology and EENS. This is a mistake made today also by the traditionalists who attend Mass in only Latin. This is also the Vatican Council II of the liberals.
But not for me.
For me BOD, BOB and I.I like LG 8 etc support a hermeneutic of continuity with the past ecclesiology, and ecumenism of return.Vatican Council II is in harmony with the Syllabus of Errors and the Athanasius Creed.
Hypothetical cases cannot be a rupture with Tradition. They are not 'physical bodies' in time and space.
For me Mass in all rites is a continuity with the Mass of the missionaries in the 16th century or the Mass which St. Paul attended, when he told the Early Catholics not to receive the Eucharist unworthily.-Lionel Andrades
