If Aquinas was alive the CDF would send him a notice

Bishop Peter Libasci the bishop of Manchester, USA along with Archbishops Morandi and Di Noia, Secretaries of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF), still want Brother Andre Marie micm.,to say unknown cases in the present times mentioned in the Catechism of the Catholic Church(847-848) are personally known on Catholics saved outside the Church in invincible ignorance. The ecclesiastics are serious even though this seems amusing.😁

In other words St. Thomas Aquinas is unwanted. He was not a Catholic for the CDF and the Curia at Manchester. He affirmed the strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and did not posit the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance as being practical exceptions.
If he was alive the CDF would send him a notice.
They would tell him he legally is not a Catholic unless he rejects exclusive salvation in the Church and acknowledges that there are visible cases on earth of non Catholics now in Heaven, saved outside the Church.
Pope Francis would call Aquinas a rigid triumphalist and Pope Benedict  would say Aquinas does not acknowledge 'a development of doctrine' with Vatican Council II. Since LG 8, LG 14 and LG 16 refer to personally known and visible  examples of salvation outside the Church. This is a 'development of doctrine' with an irrational premise and inference which is accepted throughout the Church in the present times.People can allegedly see these cases in Heaven, for the present two popes. They are objective exceptions to the past ecclesiology of St. Thomas Aquinas. This was the reasoning of the popes from Pope Paul VI to Francis.Even the Dominicans at the Angelicum accept it.-Lionel Andrades
