No safe space at the Toronto Catholic District School Board for "Prayer to St. Michael"

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) has decided that they, the staff and the students that attend and work in Catholic schools should not recite the St. Michael's Prayer. One trustee said that even the discussion about the motion to do so was a waste of time because they have more important things to do and talk about. Another trustee made the comment that the school board should not be scaring the children with a prayer that has the word "evil" in it. These are the same trustees that had no problem voting to include in board code of conduct the terms gender identity, gender expression and discuss it at length. But they have little time and patience for Catholic doctrine and the protection of children. Will the "Our Father" be next to be banned because it asks God to "deliver us from evil." For the trustees who rejected the St. Michael Prayer, we post it here:
