Roberto dei Mattei, a writer for LifeSites has written a book on the Council which he interpreted with the false premise.He then rejected the Council as being opposed to Catholic ecclesiology over the centuries.He did not know that without his irrational interpretation of LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, the Council would not contradict the past ecclesiocentric ecclesiology, an ecumenism of return and Feeenyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus.

The New Theology which he used to interpret Vatican Council II, is based upon confusing what is invisble as being visible.Then Tradition is rejected as having exceptions.Known exceptions! This is also the New Theology used by the liberals and sedevacantists in their interpretation of the Council.

The popes from Paul VI have used this New Theology, which says outside the Church there is salvation, to interpret Vatican Council II. There was no opposition from Archbishop Lefebvre on this point.

Now that Roberto dei Mattei knows the error, he does not want to admit that he was wrong for 50 years.Neither does he want to affirm Feeneyite EENS. It is the same with Christopher Ferrara, another author of a book on Vatican Council II, who is a Cushingite and Lefebvrist, like Bishop Athanasius Schneider.They are all interpreting the Council like th German bishops.
