Bishop Athanasius Schneider is Christocentric without being ecclesiocentric. The saints were Christocentric and supported an ecclesiocentric ecclesiology.
The present two liberal popes are Christocentric.Catholic Answers for example admits openly that they are only Christocentric.Bishop Schneider's position on Protestants is unclear. He also cannot say that all non Christians in his diocese are oriented to Hell.
He interprets Lumen Gentium 16 ( invincible ignorance ) with a false premise so there is a rupture with extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).So he cannot support exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.- Lionel Andrades
