Cardinal Malcolm Ranjit once told me at the Propaganda Fide, Vatican office that the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX was no more relevant.He of course was using the false premise to interpret Vatican Council II. So there was a rupture with the Syllabus. If he would not interpret Vatican Council II with the false premise then the suicide bomber in Sri Lanka was outside the Church.He is in Hell today.
