Fr.Dwight Longenecker interprets Vatican Council II with the false premise and considers it the norm in the Catholic Church. In a way he is correct.But he does not know that without the false premise, he would be traditional on ecumenism, EENS, ecclesiology etc. He would be affirming exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church like the traditionalists whom he criticizes.
