Bishop Athanasius Schneider interprets Vatican Council II like the liberals and so remains politically correct and in good standing in his diocese. He will not comment on the Five Points since it will also indicate that Archbishop Lefebvre made a mistake. The SSPX bishops make the same mistake today and so does Roberto dei Mattei and Chris Ferrara. They interpret Vatican council II and EENS with the false premise, instead of without it.Without the false premise they would be affirming the strict interpretation of EENS . It would mean that Fr. Leonard Feeney was correct and the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 wrong.
