This happened and is still happening because the liberals and alleged traditionalists still choose to interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise so that they will not have to affirm Tradition , in particular the dogma of extra ecclesiam nulla salus, with no exceptions, the Athanasius Creed with no known exceptions and the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX with no objective exceptions in 2021. -Lionel Andrades
