Vatican Council II (Rational) is in harmony with the Roman Missal (1580) : FSSP could tell the bishops to also return to the old theology at the Novus Ordo or Latin Mass.

 

Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation (Ad Gentes 7, Lumen Gentium 14) and LG 8, NA 2, GS 22 UR 3 etc refer to only hypothetical and speculative cases and not real people in 1965-2022. So Vatican Council II (Rational) is in harmony with the Roman Missal (1580) on extra ecclesiam nulla salus etc. The Council says all need Catholic faith and the baptism of water to avoid Hell (for salvation). So the FSSP could preach this Easter Triduum in Rome, according to the theology of the Roman Missal, without using the actual book. They could tell the bishops to also return to the old theology at the Novus Ordo or Latin Mass.-Lionel Andrades
