Bishop Athanasius Schneider interpreted the baptism of desire and Vatican Council II with the Rational Premise, the Blue charts.So the Council was not a rupture with the past ecclesiocentrism. He also said the pope's backing of the event could signal that Catholicism is one faith among others, with equal legitimacy.
