With the
Latin Mass allowed outside the churches and in school or office buildings it must
be asked if we can have traditional, mission, in these places. Mission
based upon there being exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. It would be mission like at the old Latin Mass with the old exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal. In
this way the faithful, do not reject Vatican Council II (rational) but
re-interpret it in harmony with Tradition.
It would
mean the Catechesis (RCIA) would be the same as that at the time of the Council
of Trent. Since Vatican Council II would no more be a break with Tradition.
Traditional Mission material is available in the old writings. The
interpretation of the Douy Rheims Catholic Bible in English, and other Bibles, would be
traditional.
We have the
Catechisms of Trent, Baltimore and Pius X, all interpreted rationally. So there
is no clash with the Catechism of the Catholic Church of Pope John Paul II,
also interpreted rationally. There is no schism with the past Magisterium.
There is no heretical interpretation with the false premise and inference. So the pre and post Vatican Council II ecclesiology would be the same.
It would be
unethical to use the New Missal based upon the irrational interpretation of
Vatican Council II. This is dishonest and not Catholic.
So the priest would be coherent when he offers Mass in Latin ( or even the vernacular) with Vatican Council II , interpreted rationally. There would be unity with the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the old Missal.
With
doctrine clear, from here there can be street or other forms of mission. We
remove 1) the irrationality of the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston and 2) the
irrationality of Vatican Council II interpreted with a false premise. We simply
interpret the Council rationally and we are back to doctrine of the missionaries of the 16th century.
This same
mission, with coherent doctrine, can also be initiated in private homes. The evangelization
would be different from that of the main line Catholic Church today. Since now
the message will be that membership in the Church, Jesus’ Mystical Body, is
necessary for salvation. Faith and the baptism of water are necessary for
salvation. There are no exceptions for the dogma outside the Church there is no salvation, mentioned in Vatican Council II. The Council supports the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal of the 16th century.
Even
though the main line Church has apostasized with Vatican Council II (Irrational),
the Sacraments are still valid and necessary for salvation. The Catholic Church
is still missionary and traditional. We undo the bad theology of Pope Benedict
and others.- Lionel Andrades
