FR.MARTIN MARY F.I: THE CHURCH TEACHES THAT ALL JEWS IN BOSTON NEED TO CONVERT INTO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Franciscans of the Immaculate (F.I) priest comes full circle with Fr. Leonard Feeney, who was not excommunicated for heresy as has been reported by the Jewish Left media all these years.

Fr. Martin Mary FI, Webmaster - MaryMediatrix.COM, has answered three questions by e-mail.
He writes :

Dear Lionel,

Ave Maria!

Thanks for writing us through our site. I will briefly answer your

questions below:

1) The Catholic Church teaches that non-Catholic religions (Hinduism, Buddhism,Judaism, Islam etc) are not paths to salvation (to go to Heaven and to avoid Hell)? Yes or No.

ANSWER: YES, they are NOT paths to salvation, for Jesus say "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." This is reaffirmed again in the document "Dominus Jesu" by Josef Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI.

2) The Catholic Church teaches that Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water are needed for all people in general, barring the exceptions invincible ignorance etc, for salvation? Yes or No.

ANSWER: YES, it is a divine mandate before Our Lord ascended into heaven and is the consistent teaching of Tradition especially the Council of Trent. However, St. Thomas, following the tradition
stipulated three types of "baptism": sacramental, desire and blood.
(See Summa Theologiae, III, q. 68, a. 2 - Whether a man can be saved without Baptism?)

3) When you meet a Jew in Boston can you tell him that the Catholic Church teaches that he needs Catholic Faith and the Baptism of water to go to Heaven and avoid Hell?

ANSWER: YES, this is just the application of question number 2, all prudence in doing this in practice must be considered.

I hope I answer your questions Lionel. I only request, to avoid

posting the same question in several areas of our site as all these

come to the webmaster. Thanks and God bless.

In cordibus Jesu et Mariae,

Fr. Martin Mary, FI
