The Society of St.Pius X communique of July 19, 2012 indicates the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 to the Archbishop of Boston made a mistake. The baptism of desire is not an exception to the dogma. It is irrelevant to the literal interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney.
The communique affirmed outside the church there is no salvation ‘nor possibility to find the means leading to salvation’. There are no known possibilities like the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance.Invincible ignorance etc is accepted but they are not exceptions to anything.We do not know of any such case saved in 2012 or the last 10 years or more.
Similarly there are no exceptions in Vatican Council II to the dogma, the Syllabus of Errors, Pascendi, Mystici Corporis and Quanto conficiamur.
Doctrinally we have the possibility of accepting Vatican Council II as a traditional Council.
