Reasons why we evangelize as Catholics

1.We evangelize knowing that the Catholic Church in its magisterial documents including Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church tell us that all non Catholics are in Hell or on the way to Hell, since they lived and died without Catholic faith and baptism( Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II).Outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation.

2. We evangelise like the saints and popes of the past.We know that outside the Catholic Church there is no known salvation.We do not know any saved with the baptism of desire, baptism of blood or invincible ignorance, with or without, the baptism of water.

3.  We evangelize because we know that in Heaven there are only Catholics.(Nostra Aetate 4, Vatican Council II).

4. We evangelize because of the Great Commission given to us by Jesus.We know that there are no exceptions known to us, to the Great Commission.So all need to accept Jesus' Death and Resurrection in the Catholic Church to avoid Hell and go to Heaven.

5. We evangelize knowing that the Catholic Church still has the superiority and exclusiveness in salvation and there is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict this traditional teaching for mission.

6.We evangelize knowing that when we meet a non Catholic he is on the way to Hell since the ordinary means of salvation is 'faith and baptism'(AG 7) and not invincible ignorance, the baptism of desire or the baptism of blood. 

7.When I meet someone on the streets I know that he is on the way to Hell unless he enters the Catholic Church with faith and baptism and this is the magisterial teaching of the Catholic Church before and after Vatican Council II.Extra ecclesiam nulla salus refers to the ordinary means of salvation.

8.We evangelise knowing that outside the Church there is no salvation is the magisterial teaching of Vatican Council II and it is doctrinally in harmony with the popes and saints of the past centuries.

9.We convince people to accept the Catholic Faith and not Christian faith since outside the Catholic  Church there is no salvation(AG 7) and there are only Catholics in Heaven(AG 7).

10.We evangelize since we can accept Vatican Council II(Feeneyite) and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (Feeneyite).St.Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine, St. Teresa of Avila...were all Feeneyite.

11. We evangelise since there is no denial from the Vatican. They agree that Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1994) interpreted with Feeneyism and not Cushingism, tell us that all non Catholics and non Christians are in Hell.This has also been the traditional teaching of the Catholic Church over the centuries.

12.We evangelize since the  dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus has not changed. It is the same as at the time of the missionaries in the 16th century. We must only remember to use Feeneyism and not Cushingism as a philosophy and theology and all will be well. There will  no more be doctrinal confusion.

So these are the traditional reasons why we evangelize.Once we have the traditional  doctrine correct we can follow any approach to reach people. -Lionel Andrades
