Brother Andre Marie MICM, Prior of the St.Benedict Center, Richmond N.H, under a Leftist prohibition of the Diocese of Manchester, USA and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith(CDF) has opened new ground for Catholics in general and traditionalists in particular.
In the past following the founders of their community, the St.Benedict Center(SBC) would cite the Church Councils and the popes and would affirm the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).They continue to do the same but now cite Vatican Council II, Dominus Iesus and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.They could also have quoted the CDF Notification on Fr. Jacques Dupuis S.J which states :

The Prior at the St.Benedict Center has also correctly interpreted Lumen Gentium 16 as referring to hypothetical possibilities only.Obviously it cannot be anything else.If someone is saved in invincible ignorance(LG 16) the baptism of desire(BOD) or the baptism of blood(BOB) it would only be known to God.
So now LG 8, LG 16, LG 14, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc do not contradict Feeneyite EENS or EENS as it was known to the Magisterium in the 16th century.Nor is it a rupture with the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return.

Brother Andre Marie is a traditionalist who has not rejected Vatican Council II like other traditionalists.Since for him no hypothetical citation, in Vatican Council II or even the Catechism of the Catholic Church, could be a practical exception to EENS. God made it this way.
This is a mistake in the CDF letter posted on the Diocese of Manchester website. The CDF theology is based upon unknown cases of BOD, BOB and I.I being known exceptions to the past ecclesiology, and ecumenism of return and EENS. This heretical position, Brother Andre Marie and his community, were supposed to accept or face ecclesiastical blackmail.
Brother Andre Marie cites Ad Gentes 7 to support traditional EENS while Lumen Gentium 16,obviously, is not an objective exception to EENS .
So for him the catechisms, popes and saints do not contradict themselves and each other.While theologically and rationally, there cannot be a new ecclesiology, new theology and new ecumenism based upon invisible cases of BOD, BOB and I.I being visible exceptions to EENS. Hypothetical cases are simply hypothetical.This would be a political disaster for the Left. It is Catholic doctrine affirming and correcting itself independent of us human beings.
Brother Andre Marie has affirmed all Magisterial documents and interpreted them rationally while the CDF and the Bishop of Manchester according to an announcement on their diocese website have also affirmed Magisterial documents(Vatican Council II, Catechism of the Catholic Church etc) but interpreted them irrationally to create a rupture with Tradition(EENS, Syllabus of Errors etc).
The cardinals and bishops also interpret the Nicene Creed and the Apostles Creed with the false premise and inference and this is first class heresy. It is a mortal sin. They would not have been allowed to offer the Sacraments in this state, in past centuries.
For the St.Benedict Center, Vatican Council II is not a rupture with the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX but for the CDF and Bishop Peter Libasci, the Bishop of Manchester, USA, it is a rupture.This is because of the deceptive premise and inference which creates a non traditional and heretical conclusion.
Vatican Council II and EENS does not have a new meaning for the St.Benedict Center but for the CDF and the Diocese of Manchester, they are 'nuanced' and 'developed'.This happens by assuming BOD,BOB and I.I and LG 8, LG 16, LG 14, GS 22 etc are objective non Catholics saved outside the Church.This is non Catholic philosophy and theology.
The result is that the Diocese of Manchester has to publicly reject the Athanasius Creed on their website. The Athanasius Creed embarrasingly for them, says outside the Church there is no salvation. This is a scandal.

Brother Andre Marie has now opened the way for all traditionalists to be united on Vatican Council II which is in harmony with Tradition.
DOCTRINAL UNITY FOR LAY MOVEMENTS AND RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES
When Mother Angelica affirmed EENS she posted the statements of the popes and saints on her website. She did not cite Vatican Council II (AG 7) and neither did she state that LG 8 etc were not objective exceptions to EENS.This was her limitation and the liberals and the Left took advantage of it.
Similarly the Rector and Faculty at the now defunct Fischer More College did not cite Vatican Council II ( AG 7) to support their traditional position on EENS etc. This was a limitation for them.
