It promotes a Catechesis affirming Jesus without the membership in the Catholic Church with faith and baptism for salvation ( to avoid Hell). It is Christocentric and not ecclesiocentric.
Since the USCCB policy is to interpret invisible cases (LG 8, LG 14,LG 16 etc in Vatican Council II) as being objective and visible cases of non Catholics saved outside the Church, there is an artificial and false conclusion.It creates a rupture with the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church, which affirmed exclusive salvation.So traditional Mission is rejected.Vatican Council II has exceptions to the Athanasius Creed which says all need Catholic faith for salvation.This is all accomplised by mixing up what is subjective as objective, invisible as visible.
