St.Francis of Assisi held the strict interpretation of outside the Church there is no salvation.He was a Feeneyite and not a Cushingite. He loved nature and had the stigmata, the wounds of Jesus on his body. He believed non Catholics needed to convert into the Catholic Church  to avoid Hell. He believed some of his Friars, still pagans and unbelievers,  in heresy, would be going to Hell.
