Mission Sunday ? Now Mission means going to a Catholic parish in a poor country , where they interpret Vatican Council II with a false premise and so end the need for Mission. Since with the false premise there is alleged known salvation outside the Catholic Church. So why have mission when non Catholics are supposed to be saved outside the Church. This was the false reasoning of Pope Benedict in the 2016 Avvenire interview. Repeating the familiar propaganda he said that EENS was no more like it was for the missionaries in the 16th century. There was a development with Vatican Council II. He meant, the Council interpreted with a false premise. So Pope Benedict questioned the need for Mission when Vatican Council II, for him, said there was salvation outside the Catholic Church
