The Catechism of the Council of Trent and the Baltimore Catechism mention 'the desire thereof ' which the liberals call the baptism of desire (BOD). We can interpret BOD with Cushingism or Feeneyism and the conclusion would be different.There will either be a hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition with Cushingism or a hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition with Feeneyism
