The issue is Feeneyism. Liberals and alleged traditionalists do not want to be traditional Feeneyites in theology and doctrine. Fr.Leonard Feeney was correct when he said there are no exceptions to EENS. How can unknown cases of the baptism of desire and invincible ignorancde be practical exceptions to EENS ? They cannot. This is common sense. How can an invisible case of someone saved with the baptism of blood and without the baptism of water, be a visible example, for us human beings, of salvation outside the Church ? There is no such person in our reality. His excommunication was lifted after 19 years. Throughout Vatican Council II they kept the excommunication on him while they promoted the lie, the New Theology based on the false premise. Archbishop Lefebvre refused to accept Vatican Council II interpreted with a false premise and the excommunication was never lifted during his lifetime
