 Pope Benedicts hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition is  now exposed. He was using that slogan but promoting a hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition all his life as a priest and then cardinal and then pope.He supported the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance irrationally at Vatican Council II and then supported a New Theology which states outside the Church there is known salvation and so there is no no need for mission or for non Catholics to convert into the Catholic Church.

With the false premise he interpreted the Creeds and Catechisms and so now there are two interpretations of Magisterial documents one rational and the other irrational. There is no unity on the Profession of Faith.
