The head of the Pontificial Council for Inter Religious Dialogue, Vatican uses the false premise to interpret Vatican Council II. He does not choose the rational premise,inference and conclusion. So the result is heresy.There is schism with the past Magiterium. He is a modernist.He is referred to loosely as a liberal.
But the liberals would also include the modernists Michael Matt ( Remnant News), John Henry Weston ( Life Site News), Edward Pentin ( National Catholic Register) and so many Catholics who are conservative on pro life issues. They do not interpret Magisterial documents with the rational option.
