Pope Pius XII was a Cushingite and not Feeneyite in Mystici Corporis. He accepted the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office which used the Irrational Premise to interpret the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance. This was Cushingite and not Feeneyite. Then he did not support Fr. Leonard Feeney in public. Pius XII died and did not lift the excommunication

In the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed we profess that the Church is One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic: she is one not only in her diffusion across the entire world, but also in the passage of time and in the unfolding of events. The faithful Catholic is in communion not only with the Church of his own time, but he must necessarily also be in communion with the Church of all times: with the Church of the catacombs, of Constantine, of Saint Bernard, of Saint Pius V and Blessed Pius IX. The lex credendi – and the lex orandi that expresses it – cannot be susceptible to adulterations dictated by the latest fashions or contingencies.

How can the Church be Apostolic with the use of the irrational premise to change theology in the Catholic Church?

Pope Pius XII was Cushingite and not Feeneyite in Mystici Corporis. He accepted the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office which used the Irrational Premise to interpret the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance. This was Cushingite and not Feeneyite.

Then he did not support Fr. Leonard Feeney in public. Pius XII died and did not lift the excommunication. Neither did the popes who followed, right through Vatican Council II.

Pope Paul VI lifted the excommunication after some 19 years without the priest recanting. He recited the Athanasius Creed which says outside the Church there is no salvation.

But there was a New Theology in the Church accepted by the traditionalists and liberals and the Jesuits.

For St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine and the many saints over the centuries the BOD and I.I always referred to hypothetical case. They are also physically invisible. This is a given at all time. This is our human experience. Our reality. The saints did not project BOD and I.I as being objective exceptions for EENS. The EENS of St. Ignatius of Loyola did not have exceptions. This was apostolic.

But Archbishop Carlo Vigano and the SSPX bishops are not Apostolic when they project BOD and I.I as being exceptions for Feeneyite EENS.

They change the interpretation of Vatican

Council II which I accept by interpreting rationally. I am a Feeneyite on Vatican Council II. I accept the Council but I interpret it rationally. So unlike the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican Council II, for me, is dogmatic, ecclesiocentric, traditional and rational. This is the ethical interpretation of Vatican Council II for me. -Lionel Andrades
