Many of the traditionalist blogs earn an income for the traditionalist-owner.So Vatican Council II is not interpreted in harmony with the past ecclesiology.

Instead the traditionalists  interpret the Council as a rupture with Feeneyite EENS, to please the Left and ecclesiastical Masonry.

It is the same with conservative Catholic blogs.

Politically they need to project Vatican Council II as a rupture  with Tradition to stay afloat and not be persecuted and may be even closed down.

Michael Matt and Roberto dei Mattei even hold conferences with speakers who will not interpret Vatican Council II in harmony with EENS. Otherwise they will be labelled 'haters' under some Leftist laws.

So like the Left, they want Catholics to have a new Cushingite identity and interpret Vatican Council II and EENS with Cushingism. This is a mis-identity.

The two popes and the cardinals do the same.So now there is no coercion or tension.The people follow like ignorance sheep.

The traditionalists and conservative Catholics will praise bravery among others, but not show a little of it, since it could be expensive for them.
