The Council Fathers(1965) made a mistake. LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II are not exceptions to EENS.The Lefebvrists and liberals make this mistake today.

 

The Catholic Church has always taught exclusive salvation and we don't know of any exceptions. The Council Fathers(1965) made a mistake. LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II are not exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS).The Lefebvrists and liberals make this mistake today.They need to re-read Vatican Council II positively and rationally.Then they hypothetical and theoretical cases in the present times(2020) would not be exceptions to exclusivist ecclesiology of the Church. -Lionel Andrades
