I am not saying that we should get rid of the Council or "burn the house down" as Bishop Robert Barron puts it. I am saying that we should re-interpret the text of the Council in harmony with Tradition. There is a rational option.The present, old interpretation uses a false premise which can be avoided. We can re look at LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 etc for example as being only hypothetical cases. This is enough. The good change will follow
