 Since 1965 Pope Benedict has been interpreting Vatican Council II with a fake premise, instead of without it.All his life Pope Paul VI  did the same. Pope John Paul II did not correct the same error in Vatican Council II. 

The Council is really traditional and has a hermeneutic of continuity with the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors and 16th century EENS which Pope Benedict has formally rejected.Similarly Cardinal Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the Doctrine of the Faith,Vatican considered these Church documents obsolete.

We can now interpret Vatican Council II without the fake premise and in harmony with the strict interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). We do not have to throw away the Council. - Lionel Andrades
