The books on Vatican Council II published in 1966 do not tell the reader that the Council can be interpreted in harmony with the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Church.

The books on Vatican Council II published in 1966 do not tell the reader that the Council can be interpreted in harmony with the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Church. It supports an ecumenism of return for Protestants. It supports extra ecclesiam nulla salus as it was known to the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century. Instead these books present the documents as a rupture with Tradition. They mix up what is hypothetical as being being real. What is implicit is confused as being explicit.Something is subjective is confused as being objective. So with a false premise a rupture with Catholic Tradition is created.

So the Council is described as a new revelation in the Church. The secular media call it a revolution.Pope Benedict refers to it as a development.
With a false premise there was a false inference and a non traditional conclusion and this was considered Catholic .
Today we can avoid the false premise and our conclusion would be traditional. It would have what Pope Benedict called the hermeneutic of continuity.
The Documents of Vatican Council II by Walter M. Abbott s.j, has an objective error in its interpretation of the Council. This error is there in about all the books in English on Vatican Council II written in 1966 and later. The same error is there in all the books on Vatican Council II written in other languages over the last 50 years.
This is incredible. We now need a new genre of books to be written on the Council. We need to discard the present books with their factual and objective mistake. It is a fact of life that we cannot see or meet any one saved outside the Church as referenced in LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II.
It is an objective error to confuse LG 8 etc as being objective cases. How can they be non Catholics saved outside the Church over the last 50 years when they do not exist in our reality? We cannot see or meet any one saved outside the Church, without faith and baptism.
So it was upon a false  premise that the New Theology was created. It now is the basis for the New Ecimenism, New Ecclesiology, New Evangelisation and New Canon Law.
