 Pope Benedict wanted a hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition. He did not want to interpret Vatican Council II like me. He still does want a hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition. Now whenever someone refers to Vatican Council II point out the difference between the two interpretations of the Council-one rational and the other irrational- and then correct the error. -Lionel Andrades
