Today a pope or bishop's conference or group of cardinals can choose to interpret Vatican Council II without the false premise, without confusing what is invisible as being visible and then Catechesis in the parishes will once again teach that there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church

There is a foreign Catechesis, RCIA and Adult Formation program in the parishes in Italy since Pope Paul VI with a false premise interpreted Vatican Council II. He could have chosen the rational interpretation and then the Catechesis today could still affirm exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.

The error was already there in 1949 when Pope Pius XII did not correct the mistake in the Letter of the Holy Office(CDF).

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith( Holy Office) made a mistake. It used a false premise when it assumed unknown cases of the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance were personally known non Catholics saved outside the Church. There are no such people in our reality.

But today a pope or bishop's conference or group of cardinals can choose to interpret Vatican Council II without the false premise, without confusing what is invisible as being visible and then Catechesis in the parishes will once again teach that there is exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church. - Lionel Andrades
