calls for preserving the Latin Mass
with 1) the Roman Missal which says outside the Church there is no
salvation or with 2) the Missal of Pope
Paul VI which suggests outside the
Church there is known salvation, there are exceptions for the dogma extra
ecclesiam nulla salus?
The
Roman Missal is compatible with Vatican Council II interpreted rationally ( LG 16 is a physically invisible case in
2024) and the New Missal is compatible with Pope Paul VI interpreting
Vatican Council II irrationally ( LG 16
refers to a physically visible case in 1965).

Pope Francis has an obligation to interpret Vatican Council II only honestly. It supports the Latin Mass.
In issuing the 2021 guidelines, the pope had said he was saddened that the celebration of the extraordinary form was now characterized by a rejection of the Second Vatican Council and its liturgical reforms.
To doubt the council, he said at the time, is “to doubt the Holy Spirit himself who guides the Church.”
Lionel: This is false. The Council has to be interpreted only rationally and then it is traditional. It is in harmony with the ecclesiology of the Latin Mass and not the liberalism and innovation of different Novus Ordo Masses.

British Lords, Celebrities Call On Vatican To Preserve ‘Treasure’ Of Latin Mass

Signatories need to sign petitions asking Pope Francis to interpret Vatican Council II rationally and then he will be supporting the ecclesiology of the Latin Mass which will be the same at even the Novus Ordo.
Another group of signatories in favor of the Latin Mass have not addressed the issue of Vatican Council II. The Council can be interpreted rationally or irrationally and the conclusion is different. Pope Francis interprets the Council only irrationally and then produces liberalism which includes a new theology, new ecclesiology, new ecumenism, new evangelization etc. So this makes the old exclusivist ecclesiology of the Latin Mass obsolete.
So Pope Francis keeps saying that Vatican Council II has to be given preference, the Council cannot be ignored and that this is the new Magisterium, as Cardinal Arthur Roche put it. None of the signatories respond on this issue.
They will talk about the beauty of the Latin Mass and other positive elements without addressing the issue of Vatican Council II, which is in their favor. It is really their strongest point but they are silent on it.
